He mentioned that at present, China's per capita energy, protein and fat supply has exceeded the world average level, but the nutritional imbalance and inadequate situation is more common, summarized as a "more" and "less". "More" means eating more edible vegetable oil, etc. At present, China's per capita cooking oil exceeds more than 40% of the recommended amount of scientific diet; "Less" is the lack of milk and dairy products, soy and soy products and other health food intake, the current per capita annual consumption of milk in China is only one-third of the world average and half of the Asian average, far lower than the recommended dietary amount of 110-183 kg, the intake of soy and soy products is less than 59% of the recommended amount, both of which have greater room for growth.

Lei Liugong said that in the next step, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will work with relevant departments to combine the construction of a healthy China with the construction of an agricultural power, and adopt a series of measures to promote healthy nutrition consumption in order to meet the needs of people's high-quality life and high-quality development of the population. First, we will further promote variety improvement, quality improvement, brand building and standardized production, and increase the supply of green high-quality products through the development of new soy products, cheese and other healthy and nutritious foods, so that consumers can enrich their tables, which is from the production side. The second is to strengthen the quality and safety supervision of agricultural products, fully implement the standard certification system of edible agricultural products, and do a good job of "safety", so that consumers can eat at ease, which is from the perspective of supervision. The third is to focus on the key content of "reducing oil and increasing beans", strengthen food nutrition science popularization, guide urban and rural residents to adjust their eating habits and food structure, we must make sure that people will choose, eat, eat healthy.
